Deep in the wilderness of British Columbia's remote Princess Royal Island lives one of the rarest and most beautiful animals on Earth, the white kermode bear. It is the creature that the First Nations of the central coast all call the "ghost of the rainforest." A mysterious color mutation of the black bear, the white kermode numbers no more than 15 on the island, with a few more thought to be on the adjacent mainland.
