1976. The McKotches, a proper New England family, embark on their annual trip to Cape Cod, only to discover that daughter Gwen has Turner's Syndrome - a genetic condition that traps her forever in the body of a child. Twenty years later, all five family members are still dealing with the fallout - the parents are divorced, Billy is dutiful but hiding a secret, Scott sees himself in his troubled son, and Gwen is silent and aloof. A trip back to the cape brings the family its first wave of honest and open communication and maybe even a glimmer of hope. Some strong language, some descriptions of sex. 2008.
