Item Details

An intimate look into the forty-plus year friendship and correspondence between playwright-actor Sam Shepard and his reclusive friend and former father-in-law, Johnny Dark. Though they met in the early '60s, they remained close friends despite living very different lives. Shepard became a Pulitzer Prize winning playwright and an Academy Award-nominated author while Dark was a homebody with a penchant for photography and letter writing.
